Bte paid $25.22 per share in Dividends from 2003-2015

Am I wrong to be invested in BTE to wait for the dividends?  I feel nobody is mentioning that BTE is a dividend paying oil company, just not right now. ;)

Scrap the dividend ideas...meaningful share buybacks to increase our equity % WCP does dividends and get NO credit on the market. Kill the dividend idsas and buyback shares at these prices...this way you don't wait for the generalist....let the company be the generalist!!!

Agree. Buy back pay down debt. Perhaps a small dividend just to keep up with the other companies. remainder into growth to increase cash flow. You should be able to gain better value by drilling vs buying back shares. However investors love dividends these days.

In your opinion ofc Mas

I agree let's get debt down.   Even you said your here for at least 2 years.   Do dividends get you around for 12 years?

Get debt down to 1/1 d/c.  Otherwise you become an acq target. Then pay a dividend along with growth which increase cashflow and that cycle will repeat and increase the share price imo.  WTI price is will be stable to say the least for a while, as will be NG pricing due to low inventories increased demand at best moderate production increases.  Industry looks good for the ...more
