huge volume this morning

Within the first two trading hours this morning, the volume indicated in TDwebbroker was already 7.8 M   Incredible volume.... Is it investors rushing to buy ? or simply the shorts running to cover ?   Is there any significance the fact that 3$ SP is a sensitive level psychologically for investors to be serious in BTE ??

IMHO many investors who bought around 3$ and who have been holding for a while - April 2019, just wanted to get their original investment out of BTE and move on.  GLTA
