Who cares? If some guy on TV said it was a 10 bagger when it was 29 cents, or 39 cents, he would have been mocked. For me, what I paid is irrelevant. I look at a $4 stock and see clear runway to $5 unless the runway is carpet bombed by $50 oil. That's good enough for me. Same analysis when it's 5,6,7 .......

He didn't mention in what time frame.  If oil maintains a $80-$100 in the next 3-5 years and Baytex pays off all their debt, does share buybacks, and produces a dividend, then YES.  This is the problem with over simplifying a call like this.  There are plenty of things that can happen from now to potentially that point.  Everyone is in love with oil now.  You can do no
