Time to sell?

I wonder if it's time to sell some energy stocks. Eric Nuttall said the only thing that could derail this energy rally are more lockdowns and another wave of Covid. That's exactly what's happening in Europe right now and it's sending WTI into a tailspin today. Now Germany is talking about possibly going into lockdown as well. Do people think in this Forum that WTI is going to continue to fall over the next little while because of lockdowns and therefore less demand for oil and gas?

I am very clear where I stand.  The catalysts to go down far outweighs the catalysts to go up.  BTE is 1.4 billion in debt!  At current oil prices it's going to take about 4 years to pay off the debt.  Biden is pushing for lower oil prices and for electric to take over.  He wants 50 percent of the cars to be electric within 10 years.  Covid is still raging and isn ...more

Finally seeing some of the other EU countries putting the hammer down, implementing the passport model like France did.  Austria?  Won't register on the world market.  Germany lockdown?  Hmmmm ...  We'll probably need a bigger footprint of action than that to make a big difference, but there will be something.   Biden probably kicking himself now, may ...more

Also noting that the Austria lockdown is only for UNvaccinated.  Singapore is setting the path for this group ... you are more than welcome to choose whether to receive the vaccine, but by choosing no you are also choosing to not accept any health care services should you become infected. Last thought would be that infection spikes like this might delay Eric's scenario, but not derail it ...more

Actually it's all of Austria now but really, Austria.  Not sure that is going to have much of an impact on oil.  Lol!  Australia is getting ready to open up everything.  Now that will have an impact on oil with international fights opening up.....very positive for oil.  Regardless of Austria and Germany, more economies are opening up in a big way.

If you are panicking and can't sleep bc this, then you should not be in energy stock. Ask yourself  if the company fundamentals  stay strong. In fact, I think it  is improving over its FCF , debt payment and Clearwater etc ....  If you have extra money, it is time to buy when there is bloodshed and people are panicking  !
