Canada has suffered through what is it now ? 6 years of Liberal communism ? Ridiculous policy and no government support has turned Canada into an investment wasteland . Trudope has cancelled or held up every project that would be a lifeline to Europe at this time and an economic boom for the Canadian economy . 

2 east coast LNG projects were ready to go and could be supplying Canadian nat gas to Europe today if Canada actually had a government with vision and an economic plan , instead Quebec's was cancelled and Nova Scotia's is still mired in red tape . Trudope's rhetoric and anti O&G attitude have only helped to cause supply bottlenecks and missed opportunities .

EnergyEast cancelled , Northern Gateway cancelled , Keystone XL died on the vine , Coastal GasLink unsupported by Ottawa but supported by the majority of Wet-su-we-tin (sp) .

Canadian media broadcast their opinions , not the facts . Ignoring or glossing over the truth as Mike McClown loves to do will come back to bite all those ill prepared for what's coming .

it's not as simple as being ill prepared. The vast vast majority of Canadians cannot prepare for natural gas shortages nor can they prepare for a lack of heat because electricity generation is green I'm retiring soon. Going to live lakeside. Between a wood stove and solar on my roof, I intend to not be reliant on a provincial power grid for heat. But many cannot prepare for that

You're missing my point johnnyDoe , its not the individual that controls their inventory , the inventory controls the market . Nat gas is purely a supply/demand equation , ample supply and easy access ensure a reasonable price . But supply needs to be replenished and that is not happening at a rate condusive to balance . My point was that had Trudope's minnions allowed those 2 LNG
