Tax loss short covering last 3 days?

Since no longs have a loss this year the focus shifts to shorts

Shorts this year certainly have a losses.

Do we see shorts covering in the last few days to book their loss?

With oil above $70 they aren't seeing the decline they were wishing for for Christmas.

Coal for shorts this year-end?

Looking forward to 2022!
