Agree , A party known for its bankers ,scientists and hardworking folks has become a party of conspirators and fringe extremist elements . I would support GOP if they get good reasonable people with a level head .

I love the story of cdn exports ex USA at record highs. It might wake up our neighbors if they turn on the tap and there is only a drip coming out.

Max, the big story is TMX starting up by year end. WCS will get a better value if it is exported out of Pacific to infrastructure starved places in Asia . Lol ,they need tar to make petrochemicals,  build roads, bitumen coat bridges and other infrastructure . All Oil used is not for fuel and WCS might trade at par/premium to WTI after TMX opens up in 2023.

I was surprised to read recently how India has been buying boatloads of cdn oil. Pun intended. There is another country besides China determined to grow out of an agrarian village existence. Much,much more oil needed.

India is building infrastructure like crazy and roads are tarred up.  They are eyeball to eyeball with china in the himalayas and they are developing Roads and infrastructure there . So all in , more and more bitumen/tar is needed . It is pretty cheap to ship it via the Pacific  to Asian ports , probably going to see a premium for WCS  considering its use infrastructure building

TMX, now there's a forgotten story way,way on the back burner. Stand by for dumbarse in Ottawa to sell the fed's interest in TMX first chance he gets to placate the econuts and at a huge discount so the banks can pocket a big score on the trade.
