The SPR is 52.9 mm barrels below year ago levels.

Isn't it strange that we have not seen any large drops due to the sales/exchanges?  Some of these closed back in November, IIRC. Is it possible that the steady trickle we are seeing come out is related to these larger actions?

Yes, they did the deals but the SPR can only be recovered at about 4 milliom barrels a day working 24/7. The purchasers are drawing it as needed.
