It is interesting to read 

"US 'exploring' coordinated emergency oil release with allies if needed: White House"

Are they getting the US consumer used to $90 oil? i.e. not needed yet

Phew down from $100....only $90 now that is a relief

Any SPR release will ONLY be very short-term effect in terms of drawing down the oil price. Just look at the last SPR release was only impact a few days and the oil price rose again all the way to $90. I would like to tell Biden that just save the oil for possible international conflict or war. If ever US involve in future war, oil will be needed.  Now is the time for share accumulation.
