Glad Warren is supportive of my choice to invest 100% of my money in baseball trading cards. Should payout any day now lol.

Pretty sure he and Charlie did not use that lingo. The basis of the thesis that "intelligent investors should not widely diversify" comes down to the ability to fully understand a business, the macro context, and its ability to succeed in the future. There is of course the backdrop that generally he likes to buy into a business to hold for (ever?) a very long time.  Of course ...more

Konaboy, I'm all in on ONE sector (oil&gas) of the markets but have 4 stocks so diversified somewhat within. Oil and Gas looks so damn compelling and especially Canadian oil and gas. I just don't see a better risk/reward by a long shot

I did read that Cobalt and smiled a bit because I'm very close to his "concentration" but damn it can be nerve wracking as hell at times, lol!

Sure can based on conviction, Warren loaded up uncharacteristically fast on OXY at these levels , so we have that , charts say we run this week, be great to put the Mar 15th lows behind us and the sector looks ready run to new highs, see how Oil opens. cheers

Pretty much all I'm concerned about is supply and demand. Just so long as demand is above supply then I'm comfortable with WTI maintaining a decent price to benefit Baytex's shareholder returns. At this point energy is way out in front of rest of market and I can't see that changing. Baytex's 1st Quarter along with annoucing buybacks will be good no doubts about it but I'm ...more

If your still sleeping fine you can always add HEU 2x etf 80.5% YTD and HNU 2x Nat Gas 126% YTD LOL

Hell no! If I want leverage I will borrow, no margin or multi-beta for me. I don't have the brass ones for that.

Couldn't agree more, it will be a couple solid quarters in a row showing consitency. Q2 WTI pricing is currently about $25 higher than Q1. Enjoying the ride and hoping there are no bumps on the way.

I'm not as concentrated in my portfolio, or in the sector, but I'm with you on the outlook that there are some good times ahead.  While it is boggling that things have not really launched yet, it should be getting close.  I would like to see a definitive conclusion with Iran (just get it out of the way), and would like to see some real impact with the Russian measures.
