Baytex regulatory filings
Baytex filed some documents today including meeting details
ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS NOTICE AND ACCESS NOTIFICATION TO SHAREHOLDERS
Baytex Energy Corp. ("Baytex") has chosen to use the notice and access model for delivery of meeting materials to its shareholders. Under notice and access, shareholders still receive a proxy or voting instruction form enabling them to vote at the shareholders' meeting. However, instead of receiving a paper copy of the Information Circular, shareholders receive this notice explaining how to access such materials electronically.
MEETING DATE AND LOCATION
WHEN: Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (Calgary time) Online at: https:// web.lumiagm.com/248158405
The meeting will be held virtually. All shareholders regardless of geographic location and equity ownership are able to attend the meeting.

Any idea what Eagle Ford would go for if oil climbs to $120? Could they wipe out debt and buy some more cheap Canadian assets?

"more cheap Canadian assets?" Why buy more when they have Duvernay that they likened to Eagle Ford. If they are still high on this play then use proceeds to build this play

Hi Drifter133 ! I'm agreed !!! Regroup the business in Canada seems for me the best think to do ! I still consider they are able to have a very good value for Eagle Ford, especially with the LNG out there. All investors in the energy sector should be aware that acquisition and merger rumors will be frequent during 2022 and 2023 !!! Only my O !

I was thinking of OBE Peace River/Clearwater assets if they sold Eagle Ford.

On my Feb 21 posting: ...Yes, I do believe BTE will be an acquisition target under the circumstances of undervalued share price, high preserved land

Based on the current wti, outstanding shares, inflation rate and earning power, each share should be around $28 to $33. Therefore, at this moment BTE is highly undervalued.
