Pierre For Conservative Leadership And PM

I shook hands with Pierre P. during his Canada wide tour this week. That man is going to lead Canada to a wildly prosperous oil and resource rich time like we've never seen before.

Get your conservative membership and vote for Pierre as the new leader of the Conservative party.

And if you get the chance to attend one of his rally's don't miss out and show up 30 minutes early to get a great seat.

Unfortunate, but the conservative party is dead.  And PP just speaks manic drivel anyways.  What a waste of time to go see him dribble and spit all over.  I'm in his riding and not a chance I would vote for him (not that it matters, he's a lockdown in this area)

With PP as leader of the Conservatves it will mean Justn will get another 4 years of being PM. Surely there must be somebody in the Conservative party someone will vote for.

I think PP might be the best in terms of getting things done but I believe that Jean Charest is more electable. I do not think we'll see 4 more years of Trudeau. I think his own caucus will force him out either privately or creating a public perception that it will be impossible for him to carry on

I dont know if you got the message of Jean Charest about the oil sector, in french ,he said "  I am OK with the oil sector but with the social acceptability. Do you what is mean realy with the social acceptability= no way to the oil sector, and the Canada will be like Quebec, no more oil in Canada. PP is better for the oil sector. Just curious if Jean Charest said the same message  ...more

Charest knows the value of the sector to the economy, and will be supportive.  In this environment, its not like he can make it a platform statement. Poor bugger ... walked away from a very lucrative CN board job and into this mess.  He will likely win if he follows through, but then will get derailed at every turn by the Reform old guard that pulled the mutiny on O'Toole ...more

Yes, the Conservative Party is not in good shape, this is like two parties in the same  with some opposite direction, one is pro-economy and the other is pro-retro-religious  mentality. They should keep  the economy way and let go away the religious mentality (in 2022  the religion is a personal stuff not politic stuff except if you live in an another country ).
Comment by cgyinv on Apr 03, 2022 12:53pm
I think that's the problem in both Canada and US, people vote in parties (left or right)  nomination are not the same voters in general election, they are the extremist. Normal, moderate people do not participate in party nomination, but they are the majority in general election

I was just in Alberta visiting family, their gas dropped this weekend to 146.9, driving back revelstoke was at 199.9. BC should have dropped the taxes on diesel, that would help with inflation at the grocery store.
