I do not believe American politics are a legitimate topic for a Canadian oil company about to release a good news report. It would be nice to stick to the business at hand. It should also be noted that many dedicated supporters of our great oil industry do not identify as right wing politically. There is the rational pragmatic middle.

Thx for sharing but "American politics" gives us an indication of what policies are expected, which also gives us a clear understanding of the general sentiment at large ESPECIALLY salient when dealing with fossil fuels. On the contrary pmdanti2 , I think today has been a very good exchange of idea's and viewpoints and by the way , BTE gets about 38% of its production from the Eagle Ford field in Texas so American politics are pertinant to the discusion . Besides we all know tomorrow nights Q1 numbers will rock so personally I am just passing time waiting for the official report . A little humor and levity are

The cost of drilling at Eagle Ford is higher than Clearwater but BTE makes some great FCF from that Texas field and it is a great asset in our product mix .
