I just read an article that the US is considering suing OPEC (called the NOPEC Bill) for market manipultion which could end up opening a door to having American companies sued by foreign countries for basically the same thing . Look at the monopoly Apple has , they don't like something they just drop it from their App store yet nobody says anything about them or their Chinese partnership .

The real solution is to incentivise American O&G producers to simply produce more rather than trying to force OPEC to give Biden the middle finger again . Speed up the permitting process , approve pipeline construction and open up land Biden closed for exploration with some tax incentives to invest are all policy solutions that would make such legislation as the NOPEC bill totally unnecessary . Democrats would rather shoot themselves in the foot rather than offend the woke-sters !!!!!

Td, my opinion it wouldn't pass the senate or be signed by Biden. It is the equivalent of the nuclear red button...much like the SPR the last talking point for Biden. But almost will use it a little bit. It too will pass just like the SPR when people realize it is a non starter. Unless of course US wants to hand the middle east over to Russia and China.

While I agree with you Wolf that it is unlikely to pass , the real solution is so painfully obvious , that was my only point there . The upside to their pigheaded position is continued elevated WTI pricing , pain at the pump and everyone knowing the left is solely responsible for the economic squeeze on the middle class .
