The market has decided to ignore Powell

It's like the sellers have concluded that yesterday's Fed announcement was all baloney and they are just going to do what they want to drive markets down.  I await the rebound once their Prozac kicks in.

Maybe the market is finally coming to the realization that you can't fight 8.5% 'official' inflation with -7.5% real interest rates.

Chris, the market did know it. It was all about who would be the first to flnch today. We even discussed yesterday the plan from JP wasn't going to work....and that is a SH board LOL
