Now if Govt. can asks for some Profit sharing with Canadians and that could  hit the Sector ????

Hard to believe but sadly,yes, govnt could be that stupidly short sighted. "Profit sharing" equals higher taxes from govnt. Same govnt that wastes billions and runs huge deficits wants more money to spend. Same govnt that can't seem to grasp, or just doesn't care, the result of higher taxes will be less money for oil companies to spend on exploration which equals less production

But the phrase "ask for some profit sharing with Canadians" is hilariously naive. Cute almost. It's not like sharing snacks at recess in kindergarten, more like the big kids stroll up and just grab your lunch bag and eat all they want, throw away the rest, and push you to the ground if you complain.

And whatever you do grasshopper, DO NOT put too much credence to talking heads on TV. Unlike money managers that are responsible for $billions of other people money, too many of these guys have NO idea what they are talking about, they just try and be controversial or extreme for the sake of ratings and their giant egos.
