What do we make of today’s trading?

I cashed out everything at $8.75.  I may buy back in but not on margin and I won't go all in.  Thinking about a little pullback before it starts to go but so hard to read.  By selling all I have a hefty tax bill.  Have others considered the tax implications of such a run?  I might owe the government $200000.

The tax rate is about 50 percent for the amount I sold on 100 percent of my sale, as I am a registered day trader.  200 to the Government, 200 to my Dad, and 400 to me is the breakdown.  Considering I was down 300 and still owed my Father 200 at one point I guess I can't complain but I want back in to the action. I was down 500k at one point and am up 800K now but after the taxes ...more

Nothing wrong with profit taking at all  BUT  this is a bull run  and if you hope  to catch it down - lower than $ 8.75   do not  depand  on it .  IF BTE opens at $ 9.80 tomorrow will you chase it ?  Will you wait for a down day and  but still have to pay  $ 10.20  because it took that long to correct ? No matter what YOU ...more
