The fed is clueless. That money will be spend this year. More dollars for demand while drills and fracs decline. Will be an interesting September and Q4

To think that people actually vote for these guys. i mean why not just give everyone 10,000. what could it hurt.

Whats the bit*h? targeted to the lower working class , damn they might just win Nov ;P
Comment by dllscwbysfn on Aug 24, 2022 4:50pm
Why not give all people who are lower working class 10,000. This simply should be illegal. It used to be that you could not buy someone a beer to bribe them for their vote.

That ship sailed 3000 years ago , always bought votes.

43 million entitled Americans.  Cutoff is if you make over $125K a year!    What a ridiculous way to add more inflation into the economy.

The average wage in the USA is around 60K so maybe not for the low income. Anybody that is ok with this has to be a liberal. This is socialism at its finest. Eventually the whole thing will crumble, civil unrest and maybe civil war will follow. What a waste, I guess we will see if the Americans are paying attention when they vote in the mid terms. I think and hope Biden gets punished for this

Socialism is exactly why we are where we are, with skyrocketing debt and inflation and a whiny, snivelling society.   Damn rights I'm scared of socialism!   Ask the Greeks and Venezuelans how saved they became.   But at least they established financial equality once everyone was equally poor!

There's no such thing as a free lunch. Everyone will pay for this one way or another, guess thats just 'politics.' I truely weep for the future.

On the one hand I feel bad for these students that were sold a bill of goods, the promise of better jobs and a bright future if they went to college and got a 4 year degree that comes with $150K of debt. On the other hand, shame on the government for causing this problem in the first place, guaranteeing student loans without regard for ability to be paid back in the future, what did you think ...more

A huge part of the problem is universities, with their tenured professor system haven't really changed much over the years whereas the definition of well educated has. There's a ton of university degrees that really are of little value in 2022. Outside of the stem subjects, most of what's available at the university levels isn't of much value. In Ontario, the community college ...more

Hi Johnny.  I think you are confusing educated with accredited. Almost everybody now gets an education in order to become employed or so the thinking goes. The purpose of an education is to enable you to be educated and be better able to understand the world around us. Getting a job was not part of the initial defiition and hence why in most cases it was restricted to those who had means ...more
