By then the SPR will only have about 390 million barrels left , I would think congress or the senate would put a stop to that idea since Biden's political crisis doesn't qualify as a reason to drain the emergency reserve .

Agree entirely HO and hope so. However, just the threat puts more downward pressure on oil. This President's trick box makes tricky dicky look like a Thespian Monk.

The one thing that will over-ride any Biden jawboning or media spin is the onset of winter and the colder/earlier it is , the better . The SPR has only postponed the inevitable and instead of trying to prepare ample supply for winter , the media has acted like cheerleaders as gasoline prices dropped ignoring dwindling inventory and steady demand .  While big money is sitting
