US Core Inflation

The Fed will continue to raise Interest rates for some time until Inflation gets to 2% and this is another down day for Oil making this the 4th straight day for Oil to sell off.

I think a 2% target is unlikely.  They will perhaps settle for a new target of 3% to 4% as increased hikes beyond 4% & 5% will crush world markets/economy and inflation is/will continue to be sticky. I suspect they slow/stop late next year... maybe even walk it back momentarily in 2024 to spur the economy forward.

Little chance the CPI is getting down to 3-4% anytime soon, monetary policy is still highly stimulative with real interest rates at negative 5%.. not to mention fiscal policy still highly stimulative with US federal budget deficits of 3T and growing.
