China’s Zero-Covid Policy To Impact Oil Demand

News articles have to be read between the lines and it wasn't very long ago when they touted that China is lifting lockdown and manufacturing will return to growth but in the last week China's promise to add demand to Oil is now being rewritten as China's COVID cases runaway again requiring lockdown periods for the month so how can manufacturing survive if everyone is at home. China and the US both being the largest economies are starting to fault and these 2 countries aren't alone with a large percentage of the world economies following them lower from Central Banks' rate hikes. One thing that this year has done is to stimulate Oil and NG exploration worldwide with Europe wanting to escape from Russia's dominance in Oil and NG delivery. China had a great Oil and NG discovery their first offshore discovery in July and the government will be funding expansion on the Oil field at the same time that Oil demand weakens and new production is coming online and will eventually crossover to having production outdoing demand. There are a lot of changes coming in a short amount of time to supply vs demand. Also in Nov we'll have Biden with NOPEC bill affecting Oil. I can't see Oil running away with everything in its way.
