All you'll read in their posts is mindless mocking "herp derp you got the vaccine and STILL CAUGHT COVID herp derp" or "MILLIONS of people didn't die!!!" What they fail to see is vaccines such as this reduce the chances; not eliminate, reduce...the chances of contractong COVID(as proven by a 7 to 10 fold reduction in testing). As well it mitigates the effects the symptoms have therefore IF you catch it then you're LESS LIKELY to require hospitalization and/or DIE. Now granted most people of average age and health can ride out the symptoms regardless of vaccination, this was more about slowing the spread to buy time so our hospitals didnt become overwhelmed and thus put us at risk of elevated mortality rates as people wouldnt then have access to the staff and equipment needed. The end result? A bunch of uneducated and selfish members of our society TO THIS DAY still not understanding the why of it all and rather chosing to believe that by "standing for their rights" they somehow made the situation better. Canada has some of the most enviable COVID 19 contraction and mortality rates IN THE WORLD per capita and its because of the measures us "sheep" took. Take pride in knowing you DID NOTHING to contribute but spread hate and misinformation! The elderly and those with compromised immune systems can thank us sheep I suppose. Now you crackpots really want to chat about freedoms take a look at China's response and tell me how bad you've got it. Not quite right. The vaccine decreased the severity of disease and risk of death for the variant it was created for - the original variant that hit North America. Research on subsequent variants is equivocal. It may not have changed severity of disease on delta and later variants. We are now many iterations from delta in this fast mutating virus.
