Boiler Room

The problem I have is that these guys are getting paid for their posts and any responses as well as a bunch of other incentives.  The more you respond, the higher their bonus.  I would place them on ignore.  I don't do the same thing with posters I generally disagree with (Snowball are you reading this?) because I do believe in a balanced discussion, but when people intentionally try to mislead me, then they are done.

BTW if this is as low as we go'ish, it should prove to be great for the sp of oil and gas companies once the tax loss selling folks start selling their tech and buying commodities on mass in about 2 weeks.

Boiler room??  The crypto play should be winding down in the wake of the FTX scandal.  Had a bad feeling about crypto from the start.  If the crypto "investors" down't lose everything, some of that money could move into the commodities space.  Something that is actually real and not just a modified Ponzi scheme.
Comment by GambinoB on Nov 24, 2022 8:46pm
If small cap wants to "save" investors...start posting to crypto board LOL. For me i will hold companies that actually make money.
Comment by Greenday on Nov 24, 2022 9:21pm
@ GambinoB - I'm with you.  The crypto crowd needs to be saved.  Did you see the look on Mr. Wonderful's face?  OMG.  LOL.  He looked like he was ready to cry when CNBC asked him what happened.  LOL.  To go along with his lost swaggger, he must have lost millions.  And now he's being sued for giving bad advice.  Poor Mr. Wonderful.  LOL ...more

Yes that is possible as well, except that Bitcoin and a few others I don't think are actually ponzi schemes. This ftx stuff is going to force the governments t place more regulations which is actually a good thing for the more stable/traditional crypto that has slowly become almost fiat currency.
Comment by HighOctane89 on Nov 25, 2022 12:33am
Bitcoin as fiat currency ...... you're kidding , right ????  Crypto is pure speculation , it holds no value and is nothing more than electronic 1's and 0's . There is no market where it is accepted as currency with the exception of Equador . Doesn't much sound like a fiat currency to me .

So much easy money they had to come up with a new asset class that is all ;)

I didn't say that I agree with it BUT that's where it is heading.
