Profiteering

Octane raised a good point.  Oil was targeted as the cause of this inflationary cycle
and got singled out by Biden for extraordinairy treatment.  They did everything they
could do to bring down the price and for the time being have succeeded,  but as Octane points out,  food as a commodity has some how escaped from Bidens "fix" and despite energy costs going way down,  food prices have remained high.

Now what does that say about fairness and profiteering as well as the limits of gov't
ability to arbitrarily interfere with the free market.  Food is as basic if not more basic
than energy( starvation being the ultimate equalizer) yet I see no hue and cry from
the greens about the problem.  Oil was an easy target because the greens hate oil
and oil companies.  They are greedy and dirty and need to be punished for their
avariciousness but as for food companies..............not a word.   They are simply
allowed to continue on profiting exhorbitantly with total immunity.
