My cocnclusion after 7 years of long term investing

It makes absolutely no sence to stay long in the market unless if we buy in a market crush such as covid time or a deep recession, the only way to make money is sell anytime the stocks are in green and buy back 2 or 3 after and repeat. Any profit is a good profit. I have been always long in the market and after 7 years yet my portfolio is significntly down.

Your right , I was just wasting some time . This market is just addicted to fear and the media is serving it up by the truckload . If it was summer , I'd be shooting a round of golf because there is no point being here today .

Anyone who follows my threads know that I am a short term trader. I gave up on long term investing years ago after seeing very medicore returns. In and out with quick 20 percent returns is the way to go...no need to get greedy.

I do the same sell on any good news and buy back lower the same day or next as otherwise the stock just stays the same. It does not always work out but 9 out of 10 times it does. I have noticed that a stock that has taken off higher sooner or later returns to the price you sold. You sould like me where if I sit still my portfolio just slowly heads down. And if/when it does, Nuttall will sell too.   He's no long-term investor either.
