NUTALL hinted that something was up Jan 27 Market call
NUTALL did mention something about this. But this
Is the opposite of what management said they would do.
I bet he dumped all his stock last week. This Wednesday
his fund states their position in BTE. If he did dump then he
can't be trusted either. Looks like Ranger is a good company
trouble is it may take a couple years to integrate and benefit
the share price

Eric said on 27 jan 2023 "They (BTE) talking about expanding their US foot print" So why is the wildman so shocked and surprised? We shall see how it turns out if indeed it happens.

Maybe it's a great deal for baytex? Maybe it's not going to happen very odd there's a leak on a deal this size. Funny how most just assume the deal sucks.

Very odd leak. This never happens in O&G. The source is easy to trace. No one would risk their job with unprofessional behaviour for no personal gain. I think this is likely a trial balloon. The exec team wants to satisfy their ego with an acquisition, but fears a poor market reaction. I think the leak is intentional.
