BTE report
It is the jump in oil price that is keeping BTE in green, the report was not good, with a good report and +4% jump in oil price, BTE should have been up more than 10%, we are just lucky oil turned strong today and hope it holds. Even now SP is starting to slide.

Nothing goes up 10% after reporting. Sentiment is returning and BTE is a prize to have.

Check shopify yesterday and today, air Canada today and in the past oil stocks including BTE have done it. If oil was flat or slightly red and BTE up 3 to 4% then I would say OK the report is good. With today's oil jump, Dow J up 400 points, Nasdaq up 226 points it is obvious that BTE gains 3%

Meh...You really are a glass half empty kind of guy. You literally said we probably won't see $5 again for a very long time BUT GUESS WHAT? We are practically there. It's obvious you don't feel comfortable with the large swings oil has been having so my advice is to sell and go buy bank stocks. Much safer eh?

And I should have sold BTE when it touched $9, but I didn't, that was a mistake. At current oil price and taking in to account BTE's peers, with a good management BTE should have been trading $12+

I feel the same, I also bought BTE since 2016, only several K, then bought >100K during pandemic, BTE was the most exciting stock until July last year, then become most lagged one Now I hold only 40K, most sold in 6ish, bought ATH and MEG instead, much much better performance People always say BTE has the most potentials, sure, the problem is when it beome reality

So you hold about $200 000 in a stock you don't believe in? Sure you do...
