2050??? The EIA can't even make a week by week forecast! Besides, as per your posts, you were in BTE and out the same day. 27 years would be a very long hold for most mate. Nevermind "investors" like you. Any other crazy articles you want to share today?

i did not write the article, i just posted it, as i said before oil stocks are no longer buy and hold stocks even holding over night is risky at this point in time, that is why i only buy on the bigger dips and sell the same day. if they get really beatin down then maybe you could hold for a longer period of time.

Ok fair enough. I also have stocks I buy and sell and I do "ok". I tend to look fo stocks, however, with a higher beta.  Flipping for a 2% gain is a losing proposition since there is no guarantee it drops any further after you buy. In other words your profit is capped at 2-3% since you will sell it fairly quickly but the downside risk is not. Unless you have a crystal ball, you will ...more
