Ok Snowballer, I'll go out on a limb. No bloodbath. Markets had already baked in declining PMI (US manufacturers index). Manufacturing in the US is in contraction. Fed rate hikes are causing a slowdown. Jobs remain strong for now. Elections coming. Dems don't want a recession. Fed will pause rate hikes. Meanwhile emerging markets in growth mode. Russia being pushed back. To rebuild the ...more

Good post. Appreciate you taking the time to make those views come together. Excellent point in there for sure.  However, I think bloodbath is coming. Question is will it be slow or fast. Your points above paint a longer term picture (next two years or so) I'm talking about the next few months.  Can't disagree with you on a lot of those things... chartwise tho.. fk man looks ...more

But if you're right, then a lot of people will be buying the dip at some point given the longer term trends.  Uranium is good! I like it as well. Humans have never been able to pack energy into a given mass like nature can. The binding energy in the Uranium ...more

Well said on Uranium. Agreed, buying the dip is also my plan. I'm more surprised than worried about a potential blood bath coming, was really just looking for a pullback.. But might be more than that, unfortunately.  I just looked at the weekly chart and this is the 3rd week in a row we get recjected at the 50WMA. And the weekly MACD is starting to curl over to boot.  Aaannd a ...more

Lol Snowballer, I had heckled Montreal a couple of times but I even stopped doing that. Things are getting too serious in Canada right now for everybody. We're all in the same boat. Some worse than others. Even those in a solid financial condition are worried about inflation, interest rates, cost of shelter and energy, rising taxes etc. A friend called me from Kelowna today saying that he' ...more
