BTE vs oil price

WTI is almost $90 and BTE under $6 makes no sense. This should have been around $10+

The last time oil was trading in this area, Bte was $6. The sp will increase if it maintain these levels for an extended period of time. Patience.

You're not making any sense David. At 75 wti, Baytex has been both clear and consistent that they generate 1b fcf. So in one quarter that's 250M approximately depending on capex fluctuations. 125M of that goes to shareholders and the other 125M goes to debt.  Most of your posts reach like a soft bash. If that's not your objective then you probably need to do more DD.

But Q4 will reach 85$ avg. !!! With 152,000 boe/d or more !!! And 6$ is a no brainer for me, already in september for Baytex. The train is leaving the station.  6,08$ was share price end of 2022 !!! Here we come ! ''To infinity and beyond'' signed by Buzz Lightyear !!

Sorry David... Agreed...Your comments don't really make any sense... The CEO has been buying the heck out of th stock...$1 million + purchase at around $5.64 if I recall) He's got "skin in the game"...you really think the share price is going to be suppressed? I bought a bunch more Nov $6 VTE calls yesterday....this will give those options and expiry after the Q3 numbers are ...more

I also agree. For Q3 though my calculations are that they will pay off 125M in debt, buyback 20M shares and put 20m towards a dividend. This is assuming that Capex stayed on average and WTI averaging 75. That would be a pretty decent quarter and sets up the possibility for a great q4.  Lastly, these are back of napkin numbers, can someone tell me if I am on the right track, Thanks

That sounds about right for me Dill. The market ,however is forward looking and thus far Q4 may bring in closer to a $350 fcf AT THESE NUMBERS.

The market will move Bte if oil hangs in at the higher prices the market wants to see more than a week or two of high oil prices to move the stocks if oil is in mid 80s to 90s thru the fall Christmas should be merry. Except for duster350 :)
