Oh i'm getting excited on the numbers coming out, Nothing like a change in government to make bank if you know what rips or dips based on left or right. Under 30 last election 62% Dems 35% GOP today its effectively even WOW. Is there anything bigger for Oil? Drill baby drill vs war on Oil?
Comment by dllscwbysfn on Nov 05, 2023 1:27pm
But would they drill or would they stay disiplined? Anyway that is a whole year out. Bigger question should be how hard will the dems work to bring down the price of oil over the next year??

Not sure that is the right question mine would be how does the market well algos precieve the change and how far out from the election do they move. In my watching they like to sell first ask question after on macro changes or micro.

May I point out a simple pro and con of Drill baby Drill? Pro: More North American oil on line - good. Con: More North American oil on line, ie: driving down the price of the commodity (O&G) - not so good. Yes, I do realize the extra export production  - but Opec+ and Venezuelan oil isn't going away... mugs
