So Goldman just ran the price up end of day....

But I was really hopeful for a few more at or around $4.... Lol....what can I say ... lol

Anyway, we have EIA coming in tomorrow morning
Rumour has it that after last weeks 0.6mb addition to the SPR, that it was followed up with another addition of a few mb this past week...

While it's a drop in the bucket versus what was taken out, it's likely going to change the EIA numbers, in addition to the cold weather of course, shut in's etc - that cold out in Alberta will begin to impact the numbers as well

So....are we going to see sub $4 again?

I know there's a few day and momentum traders here, in addition to the true longs, and the occasional shorter that frequents the board from time to time...

So...what say you all - there's more than a few looking to place their bets on tomorrows low...what's your thoughts folks?

You are forecasting $3.98 based on what? (facts, logic, market sentiment, negative oil news, negative economic news, negative market news...), this is funny just forecasting a number with no valid arguments makes no sense.

Hey @1234bmth, if you don't want to play guess the low of the day, that's fine.... But as you know the fluctuations during the day have nothing to do with anything rationale as they are driven by shorters, hedge funds and investment houses. BTE traded 8415.3k shares today across the exchanges, with 12398 trades for a whopping 678 shares per trade. Of those trades, 49.98% occurred on

I am long. What happens tomorrow at the open no less is quite a challange. But just for fun we open up and we go higher as the day goes by and lose half of those gains before the close. Why do we open higher, I think the shorts might be a little wary of the EIA report tomorrow morning and do not want to get caught.

I will give myself about a 70% on my guess. And if WTI stays within a buck of 75 then the sp never sees 3 bucks again.  But hey my guess is as good as yours. GL to longs!!
