The Trudope government needs money, and the only industry with profits is the oil producers. That makes investors nervous.

I think that a discount is built into the sp as a hedge against the risk that oil prices will drop. Bte reports break even costs of $58 per barrwl at Eagle Ford while Exxon is producing at $41 per barrwl in the Permian snd think that they can cut it to $25. So they'll still be making money at say $55 Bren5 while bte will lose money. Why doesn't someone ask those Eric guys why they can' ...more

Hey Kelvin where are you getting the $58 breakeven point on the Eagle Ford production? I thought that Greagher said they were break even around 47.   What happened to Country Boy?

JohnnyDoe, I'm trying to find where bte said it. I think that it was the Q3 financial statements. But the link below says break evens for Eagle Ford is $59 per barrel. CountryBoy sent me a pm a while ago saying that they banned him for good from posting but that he could still send pm's. I haven't heard from him in months. Maybe he's back under a new alias and different IP address ...more
