ATTN Kelvin: Eagleford break even costs.

Directly from Brian Ector this morning.

"Hi xxxxxxxxx, our average break-even WTI price is in the range of US$40 to US$45 WTI for the individual wells in our Eagle Ford Drilling program. We are on track to achieve our 8% targeted reduction in DCET costs with an average well cost of ~ US$10.5 million (9,800 feet completed lateral length). In aggregate, we expect to bring approximately 62 net wells onstream in 2024, including 49 net operated wells.

No I'm not a ...more

Yes I was worried that the refracs wouldn't work out so well. How many have they done so far I wonder. Anyway looks like they're doing the right things. I read that Eagle Ford has about 25% clay in some areas. If it's clay minerals that react eith water then they'll swell up when in contact with water and block flow paths. I thought that might be an issue. I'm glad that it' ...more
