Only 0,2% of all Out Sh. were shorted during this period for Baytex. I don't consider the actual trading as a short sqeeze for Baytex !

May be, Baytex had something interesting to talk about with the Q2 results coming july 25th...Only a few know something !
Otherwise it may be the purchase transactions that increase for all Canadian oil producers.
Or fundamentals matters are coming back !!!

I just found it odd shorts increased or 'were captured' in the last report.  They have to know summer season historically sees oil rise and BTE thus would ride along.  Plus within a month of Q2 report.  If they slow down the daytrading on the short side we will see more moves like today.  Very scary time to be shorting BTE with ME acting up and draws occuring on oil and
