84M in Buybacks in 1H, 191M in 2H

Should see $191M of buybacks in the last 6 months of the year. That's a lot of buying pressure.

Buyback started on July 01, 2023, WTI was  roughly $70.60 and BTE was $4.32. Now 13 months later after spending roughly $330M on buyback BTE is $4.48 with WTI at $74 which is $3.40 higher than June 29, 2023. So in 13 months no positive effect of buyback and $330M is gone. Let's wait another year and we will if it has positive effect.

Like I said before, the buyback effect will be after almost 50% of the shares has been  buyback, until there watch  the game  with some pennies up and down, again until 2027, as the CEO said.

Exactly what debt first is most important.
