Okay, I was wrong

THis is it now.  No way Netty does not take advantage of this and do what he has always wanted to.  Iran tried to save face.  Unless the US threatens to cut him off, he goes after either the oil depots or the nuclear research facilities.  He does need to do it quickly.  Cannot allow Iran to set up their defeces.  I would imagine Israel already has sent hacks into their defence systems just waiting to be activated.  This is going to get ugly real quick.  How does Iran respond after that is the question.

Hey keg I think the oil is untouchable seems like it's the obvious thing to do...cut off the cash flow easy peasy but it never happens I think mainly because the USA and world want cheap oil.. none of this would have happened if Iran couldnt sell oil or at least very little of it..they wouldn't be able to fund hezbullah Houthis etc....what's their other source of revenue? They dont buy Iran's oil.  Just China and India.  Saudis could meet the demand and they would like to anyways.  If you were Joe and you had to make a choice...what you do?  Netty isn't exactly listening anyways.  Regardless it is going to get messy.  Netty wants Iran to escalate so he can go out as the man who ended Iran once and for all.  Grand send off. ...more

Saudis have no incentives to raise production in a meaningful, that would offset Iranian interruptions. They would silently ride the gravy train.... Iraq on the other hand

I know USA doesn't buy oil from Iran but those that buy from them do it for a reason because it's cheaper which hurts the over all price. So talking 1.5 million barrels off the market won't be could for a low oil price... I could be wrong but that's how I see it

It seems like all of the US political leaders have forgotten about 911. The "bad people" have had a year to cross the US southern seive border and set up cells such that when Tehran/Iran is nuked possibly tonight there could be payback in the continental USA right in the face of the "keep it over there" attitude. Its probably easier to attack US than Israel right now, thanks to ...more
