Debt translation??? Really?  The company has borrowed money in US dollars and the interest on that money will be in US dollars  . Maybe I am wrong but I think when they come out with Q4 earnings it will show that debt has increased considerably. I think the loonie has dropped by about 4 cents since the last report. Is all of their debt in US$? People tell me it's just optics but it ...more

Yes, debt will be shown higher, but for each barrel of oil as $70x 0.04

I mean revenue will be higher by $0.28 per barrell of oil, if the difference is $0.04, but for me the difference looks higher when converting USD to CAD.

No need to be upset (BOLD AND CAPS). 50/50 framework has not happened over the last several Q except maybe Q3. And if I am reading this correctly you are agreeing that in CDN $ the debt will be higher?
