Frank007...Depression? Not likely. Recession? For sure. Canada will be in one very soon. The initial Trump purge will drive markets down globally and probably quite hard. Oil and Gas will also suffer considerably. Be ready.

There is a reason he didn't announce tariffs today, he is buying time to gain in negotiating tariffs and keeping his credibility by saying Feb 01, although it is uncertain and the market doesn't like uncertainties, but IMO he is trying to be softer in tariffs. If he really wanted 25% tariffs across borders, it was definitely today to start.m and no reason to delay until Feb 01. All my ...more
