Not so fast! The U.S. will batter the hell out of gold at the open. They always do when the U.K. market is in holiday mode. Hope im wrong but.....

You are absolutely right. This time it went down looong before the open. Oh, well. It's a holiday here too (Canada).

Gold is holding steadfast - approaching $1900. New virus worries. Numbers going up. Stocks shine is starting wear off. Investors starting to look at gold again. Hold tight

Gold is doing much better than i could have hoped, so far. Sometimes it feels better being wrong, than right! Today is one of those days, thankfully!

Stimulus bill moving markets higher and higher. They just keep printing money and a price will have to be paid sooner or later. Gold is safe and the tide will eventually turn. It is inevitable. This bubble will burst and when it does take cover.

Well, after half an hour after the open, gold is back over 1900. May not hold, but next year still looks pretty good to me.

It would have been a great day for day-trading. Unfortunately, Canadian TSX is closed, and I only trade in Can. currency. Can't wait for Biden to assume the presidency. With a bit of luck there will be some strong inflation setting in, and that should help.
