Who could buyout BTO?

Barrick is in Mali.  At BTOs current SP it would be cheap for Barrick to get 1million ounces of additional production.

last 5 years all gold stocks want merger of equals no body pay primum.only in juniors they pay 20% or30%.bto will not sell at these prices.

An offer of $8-10 would just have to convince 51% to sell. That may be a premium on today's SP but $5 is certainly not FMV so $8-10 would be a reasonable price that some might accept.

You need 2/3 vote I think and $8-10 won't even pass the board IMO. Clive has been quite clear that he is not interested.

bto has enough cash flo  and there mines are doing good and gold price will only go up from here .why they will sell at $8 or $9. this is the best time to buy some junior projects at rock bottom prices.

Barrick would also be my choice.

I recall that idea has been floated before and Clive was not interested.
