B2 has ballpark 1.05 billion shares outstanding.

Why not buy back 50 or 60 million shares per year for a few years?

I don't much care whether they buy their way into the headlines via an acquisition, or take advantage of the lowest stock price in a year.

Just DO SOMETHING.

You honestly have to wonder what is going on when you have a sector and  more importantly many well run companies like this one producing large cash flow, earnings and decent dividends but share price showing how out of favour this sector is.   Current prices are assuming gold at $1200 an oz, or these firms management spending the retained earnings like drunkand sailors on shore ...more

Clive would never buy back shares. He's too stingy, just saying. On the TA note, it seems we might have had an early cycle low (last one was Aug 9). indicators have reset with higher low which is good. Higher high next cycle hopfully? I for one wants gold to take its time and backtest every resistance breached to ensure a long and strong bull cycle. I've been thinking about Basel 3 ...more
