Woe is me

Ok. Just yesterday, I was close to making enough from Vet to buy back BTO, give or take a few grand. Now with VET dropping 12%, as at time of writing, and BTO up 4%, I will need 70k to buy back my shares.

And since I couldn't resist all these "easy" profits from the oil boom, I decided to buy a prodigious sum of SU shares. Based on my solid track record of buy-high-sell-low, I'm off to another bag holding journey.

Is there really a job called "paid pumping"?  How and where to apply?  How many cents an hour?  I have tons of nonsense to post...hheheheh.  If I get this job, I will quit being a stalker. Lately I've been very disappointed with myself that I've turned into a creeper stalker. The sad thing is that my intention was to follow the person I stalk and learn from him/her. I have only done the exact opposite.

I just got a call from my bank who's willing to release a large amount of funds to me. Part of me want to take that money and buy back my BTO shares (it hurts like hell to shell out 70k more to buy back the shares I just sold more than a month ago). The other part of me want to run away. Putting money in my hands is like leaving a kid in a candy store.

Should I sell Suncor now and buy BTO?  It's an excellent day to book a loss ;-).  Or should I just stay put? I don't know how much further VET is going to drop. I'm still up a few thousand so I really don't know if I should get out. I still like it enough to stay.

It was easy when I just like hoarding real estate and ETFs. All of a sudden I had a propensity to turn into a trader without knowing a darn thing about it.

Enjoy your day, everyone!

IMO there are still future gains to be had in the oil & gas sector however the easy money has been made. Valuations on earnings are still low however they've been running pretty much parabolic for some time now. Time for a breather I think. Due to govt's fiscal policies, inflation is running rampid and the dollar is likely toast if you take the long view. Gold likely has a pretty good ...more

...........just one caveat I forgot to mention. They operate in Mauli which is in Africa . Some perceive this as high risk geographically however the company seems to have been working well with government there and there have been no real issues that have hampered operations there thus far. Good luck with your choices.

nothing wrong with real estate...as long as you stay disciplined on the cap rate. Can't tell you how you should buy stocks. I will just say the oil companies are due for a pull back IMO.  I booked profit today at $5.65. ok i know some of you will throw profanities at me. That's fine. I am looking to buy back at the 38% fib on the weekly chart.

one more thing. B2 is actually my top holding in my portfolio of 8 stocks. Can't find anything even close to B2 when it comes to value. Mali is not a concern for me, only thing I wish Clive would work on is the growth gap for the next 2-3 years, buy something, buy back shares or hike dividend, just do something with the cash already.

What kind of moron would throw profanity at someone who's doing well for himself?  Way to go! The only problem is you did this without telling me. Hahaha. I've just sold half. How much did you sell?  Hurry up before the market close. I'm very busy now.
