I actually agree with you on this one.  No company (in any industry) should have over 1 billion shares outstanding.  At least a 1:3 consolidation should be considered.  But, there are many dimwitted individuals who fashion themselves as "investors" who don't understand the simple math behind a share consolidation and once it happens they have to sell what they believe ...more

I'm not thrilled about that either - but I'm sure someone on this board will tell us why the share count is completely irrelevant and why BTO management are geniuses and doing everything exactly right, including the sale of 79 million shares of Calibre at $2.20/share (now at $2.60/sh), the $500 million prepay at $21.91 (with gold now closing in on $2700), and the massive underestimate of ...more

Obvious question is why are you posting here ? If you are so convinced BTO is a horrible stock, with horrible management, horrible mines, horrible exploration, horrible finances, then why tf don't  you sell and buy something else? You have all the answers for the company, but no ideas for yourself? If you were constantly complaining about this horrible stock because you were short it ...more

Anyone who finds that off putting can simply use the ignore feature as I expect many posters have done with you. I certainly don't know it all, but apparently you know even less.

Wow. Well i sure hope you don't "fashion" yourself an "investor" with that math and investing observation. Of course it doesn't matter mathematically. At best, there is a psychological "phantom" at play. The "phantom of the stock market" thinks a $12 stock is worth more than a $4 stock. It's not.
