Let the analysts tell us...
From what I heard the analysts are as frustrated as every investor regarding the lack of information from Merit....I say Merit because this private company is clearly the one holding information on production, sales, NDA's etc so CEO hands appear tied to when and if Merit divulges information...However, we were basically told to expect the following:
1 - In 45 days we will see some form of earnings from the Merit partnership in the Burcon 2021Q1
2 - By September we will likely know who Burcons next partner(s) is going to be, what type of product and protein it will be.
Lets see how the analysts break down todays call bearing in mind that most of them have $6 targets based only on phase 1 production of the Merit plant. Presumably if they beleive what we were told today especially on the above 2 points then the current SP is clearly hugely undervalued.

Transat. Burcon has no choice! Burcon is only a shareholder whereas Merit is the operator and sales manager and therefore call all the shots and timing of releasing information. There is likely propriotery information that cannot be disclosed until NDA's and production capacity is sold. Game on!

I believe he said "Q2" and my impression was he meant fiscal year Q2, which means Q3 of 2021. At another point during the call Tergesen said that Merit is "moving to sales now", or something similar. And tomorrow, Q3 2021 is starting. In other words, I wouldn't expect earnings from the Merit partnership to be part of the fiscal year Q1 report coming in 45 days.

Price target reduction from Cannacord this morning and sellers/shorts are in charge on heavy volume. Looks likes its heading to $3.00 in the coming days.

So from C$6.25 on February 9 to approx C$6.00 ($4.84) now. A modest reduction of the target, however, the current SP is much lower today than on February 9. So the upside based Cannacord Tania Gonsalve's new target is bigger now than it was back in February.

Analyst targets are worthless but serve to justify very short term selling or buying. The bottom line is the stock is down 6% as I write this.

down - wait for an intraday reversal... and think about: down with so few shares that the word volume would be a joke market is soo much dried out - next good news will bring an explosion

It took 8 days from that post to get to $3 and even lower this morning. $2.61 is the last stop before everyone, except Fundmanager1944, gets off.

Simple question? How much did the Merit Plant cost to build? Thank you

It cost $150 million. Why do you ask?
