price loss

for me, the share price losses in the second quarter are much more serious than those in the current quarter. In the second quarter, AWM acquired 3.9 million shares, almost 4% of the outstanding shares, and was thus responsible for over 30% of the quarterly turnover. Despite this, the share price has fallen extremely. In my opinion, an insider must have sold here, perhaps the major Asian shareholder in some way....!?

Public info on MarketQ shows that Mr Chan, the main BU shareholser, still owns 22.8M shares  this morning. Look like nothing changed on that front.  If you dare to share, are you in the market to sell BU at 4.80$ again or at 20.21$ this time ? In my opinion, share price has fallen extremely due to policy of not sharing to market info on businesss development and possibly from an ...more

In earlier years, Mr Chan owned over 40% of Burcon. The question is, when and how could the stake have been reduced to less than 25% without an insider report? Regarding a buyout: Burcon's structure as a minority owner of Merit is unsuitable for a takeover. At most, Bunge would be an option, but I think that is extremely unlikely.
