Shorts?

I'm curious what you guys think about the huge increase in short positions? I don't care if we go down 50% I will just buy more but is there a catalyst for the shorts? Maybe hedging? Warrant holders shorting possibly?

Hedging of the recent PP.  they are long the new issue, they short the stock to zero out their position.  If the stock goes down they are basically zero return but protected.  If the stock goes up over the warrant conversion price they are in the money, convert, sell and have a profit. That strategy is very common in the convertible debenture market to lock in a guaranteed return. & ...more
