Cematrix Has Perfect Solution for Bridge Abutment Fills

Conclusion from case study above;

"The application of lightweight cellular concrete at the Nepewassi River Bridge was successful. The effective stresses on the bridge approaches were reduced by the use of Cellular Concrete resulting in reduced settlement. In addition, there was no adverse environmental effect from the use of cellular concrete. Based on the performance of cellular concrete on this job the ministry will use cellular concrete in future projects to mitigate any stability and settlement concerns."

Good post I was leary about Cematrix's involvement with bridgework. I was thinking all they needed was stuctural cement. Thanks for pointing this out. We still have to see if governments have the commitment to spend on infracstructure. The people at the top seem to be more worried about other agendas.

Well look at Ontario they already released their infrastructure spending bill. $2.6 billion for this year $20 billion for the next 10 years and $500 mil for this year just for the bridges. The other provinces should have similar infrastructure spending bill across Canada and then we have the whole USA !!
