Small and Micro-caps Are Where Smart Money Will Flow

Investing is a no-brainer - until it isn't. For far too long the successful investor just had to invest in a large-cap fund and forget about it (just look at the past 5 year returns of top large cap funds if you disagree). Now it will take a little more skill going forward in order to find those undervalued companies that will give you above average returns.

Many of those undervalued gems can be found in the small/micro-cap sector that has largely been ignored by the mainstream funds.

So yes I agree with you prospector. While the large caps goes thru correction the small and mid caps will most likely rise but you have to be nimble in your picking. Technically speaking infrastructure is one area that should benefit from increased awareness as we enter the construction season. If you remember not too long ago it was the large caps going up while the mid and small caps were coming
