The Howard Group

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board, but not new to CVX.  The biggest issue I have is The Howard Group and their absolute failure as a PR firm.
I (and many others) on Discord, Yahoo MB, etc have gotten used to having to dig around just to get info they should be promoting!  A great example is the Brooklyn Bridge contract.  Why is nobody talking about this?  The Howard Group posted a video on YouTube, but that's all they did.  Nobody knows to look for it, unless you put out a press release stating "Cematrix working on massive Brooklyn Bridge restoration" or something like it.  Instead, we just sit here losing money on our investment.

Seriously, they are totally inept.  This is by far the only example.
Anyone else feel the lack of good IR/PR is holding this down?

Welcome on the board Wizzayne........Surely Cematrix could take advantage of a better promotion and I agree with that. However, let's not forget that it has been a few years since Cematrix presents us a backlog of several $M but still without declaring positive finances.   Finally it seems to change but it's still very recent. With these positive stats, stock promotion should ...more

Some more good news announcements would greatly help right now.  Like new contracts.  And by the way.  11 of the 13 infrastructure stocks I follow are up today.  Of course CVX is one of the down ones.

Welcome to the board - I have thought the same thing many times- there is a lot of good news that could have been and could still be reported! Perhaps given their investment connections they are just trying to get a larger piece of the ownership pie before going all out with promotion.  You never here Warren Buffet announcing beforehand that he will be buying stock x - it is always after the ...more

I've definitely considered this, but there has been no institutional buying either.  Why? From a shareholder perspective, I'm stuck.  I am in the US and the volume on this is so low, it's basically non-exisitent.  More days than not, there isn't even a single share traded.   I blame myself for not recognizing the liquidity issue earlier, but when I first ...more

Agree with you Wizzaine, it would help a lot if there was more volume ..... but from there to say that there is no transaction on certain days ...... ???   CVX is exchanged on several platforms that do not always appear on your banking site ..... Have you looked at "Stockwatch.com"

I'm specifcally talking about the US OTC Maket.  It's the only option I have (or anyone in the US has) to trade this.  The ticket symbol is CTXXF here. I realize it trades on other exchanges, like the TSX, which is where most Canadians trade it.   What I'm saying is I can't sell my CTXXF shares anywhere but the US OTC exchange where I bought them. On that ...more

As I write this the Stockhouse site has a bid for CTXXF of .211 and ask of .23 (there is 250,000 shares shown on both sides). This would equate to an ask of approx. .31 in Canadian dollars I think.  If the price is right there should be trading! (Unless Stockhouse has the wrong info) GLTA!

You are right Wizzayne, I went to see the volumes for CTXXF and indeed today it's a beautiful zero !!.   You have an average volume of 2,200 per day on the OOTC .... while on the TSX Venture only we have an average volume of 96,300 per day.   I wish you good luck

You could journal your shares over to cvx.v. They would get converted to CDN dollars.

Yes jisbbick is right.  I know for a fact that is correct.

I've debated journaling my shares, but Etrade doesn't support doing so. I'd have to change brokers, move things around, convert to CAD, etc.  Really, I'd just prefer to see more interest in the US! It's a volume thing.  Nobody is buying because there isn't any marketing or PR here to even know it exists.  That is a missed opportunity if you ask me.  ...more
